About
Who?
I am a 2nd year student at Eastern Mennonite University studying Digital Media, Art, and Peace-Building. I chose this field because I feel a deep connection with art and have a desire to share my work with the world. I believe art has the power to inspire and change people. I've set out to spark a fire in the souls of my viewers to want to take action to better the world. This includes breaking down social norms and paying respect to nature and other human beings.
I was born in Michigan but grew up in Northeast Ohio. In 2012 I moved to Harrisonburg, Virginia for university. I have fallen in love with the valley because of its beauty and community and plan on staying there throughout my schooling.
Goals
With my skills in Art, Digital Media, and Peace-Building, I hope to find a way to bring about change in the world through art. I wish to challenge viewers to pull something from my work and use that as inspiration in their daily lives. Whether that may be appreciation for life, or a desire to change the way we act, or if its just being kinder to the people around them, I hope my work inspires people to change and better themselves.
