About Chass Kreider
Chass Kreider is not only a photographer, but a lover of life. I love to go on traveling adventures or backpack through the mountains, but my true passion is for culture. I love to let her photographs tell a story. I believe that everything has a story to tell, it just depends on how far you are willing to go to find it out.
My passion is for the Latin American cultures and the people that belong to them. After marrying my husband from Peru I found a deep love for the people and culture.
I have traveled to Peru and other Latin American countries, but my heart will always have a soft spot for Peru. I hope to live there one day and capture their truly beautiful culture in new and different ways.
Education
I began my college career at Blue Ridge Community College. After taking some time off to get married and discover what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, I decided to go back to school. Soon I will graduate from Eastern Mennonite University with my bachelor’s in photography.
Goals
In the next five years I hope to...
- move to a different country
- photograph more cultures to have more of a variety
- learn more about using off camera flash
- take more portraits
