These photographs show a little glimpse of my love for different cultures. They vary from people, places and things to give more of an understanding of the Latin American culture. Each photo has a paragraph to explain a little bit about where it's from and why it is important.
This image was taken in Doctor Arroyo, Mexico. I spent a little over a week with children of varying ages. In this photograph the children are patiently awaiting for their chance to swing at the piƱata.
This image is from one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu, Peru. It's beauty is like nothing I have ever seen before. It was a journey to hike part of the Inca Trail to capture this photograph, but well worth the journey.
This image was also taken at Machu Picchu, Peru. These llamas had been taken up to the top of the mountain for tourists, and the llama with the mountains in the background gives a sense of Peru's culture.
This image is from Cusco, Peru. While most people might think eating a guinea pig is strange, the people of Peru consider it a delicacy. So, while I was visiting I decided to embrace the culture and try some.
This image is also from Cusco, Peru. Because of the mountainous terrain due to the Andes it is hard to find good land for houses. This explains the stacked houses going up the mountain.
