I am a senior at Eastern Mennonite University. By the end of May I will graduate with a degree in Biology and a minor in digital communications. My plans for the future are possibly to study medical illustration. Other options I am considering are public health or research or something else related to these things.
Last summer I had a public health internship at the University of Iowa. Before freshman year I did the Bridging the valley program for STEM majors with the 4 area colleges.
I’ve been interested in biology since I was a little girl as I grew up playing outside, loving nature, watching nature shows on TV and taking after my father who also studied biology and is now a veterinarian. Through EMU I have become interested in health.
