I began to be interested in combining biology with art when I added my digital communications minor my junior year. Last semester I took Mammalian Anatomy in which we often had assignments where we had to draw or illustrate wht we were learning. My teacher liked my assignments so much that she suggested I think about medical illustrations as a career path. The idea has stuck in my head ever since.
Most of the illustrations I have done so far were for class. A lot of them are very crude, just to help me understand the information. Some of them are of microscopic anatomy and some are of visible internal anatomy.
