About Ty Ferrell

Ty Ferrell is a freelance writer and editor with experience in project management, content development, and journalism. While studying at Eastern Mennonite University, he served as co-editor of the literary and visual arts magazine, The Phoenix. Ty managed all social media channels for the magazine and oversaw the design process for print. He also worked with The Weather Vane, EMU's student-lead newspaper, where he served as staff writer, copy-editor, and web manager.

Ty is also experienced in research and analytical writing, as well as creative writing. He completed his thesis on middle eastern conflict exhibited in literature. Ty's creative works are greatly influenced by music, and his writing portfolio works to intertwine and examine life and music through prose and poetry. He is currently employed by his alma mater, where he develops instructional materials, calling scripts, and online giving pages.
