In the 8th grade at Glenvar Middle School, I took my first photography class as an elective. I was drawn in almost immediately, and soon I became the proud owner of my very own Nikon D80.

I spent many spring days outside taking photos of fun, colorful objects and scenes around my home. I found myself taking my camera to all our family gatherings and vacations, and I found myself wanting to travel more to expand my collection.
