Swannanoa Gallery

This collection of photos intertwined my passion for portrait and landscape photography. Swannanoa is a breath-taking, abandoned mansion that provided amazing photo opportunities to explore. For this shoot, I focused on creating cohesive mood, lighting, and depth throughout the series of photographs.

This series challenged my technical skills and encouraged me to further utilize editing tools such as Photoshop. The temperature of the photos drastically changes the message of the series and it was interesting to see how each color edit affected the viewer’s experience. While each photo is unique, I created common visual threads that bind the series together through consistency in location, subject, and editing.
