My name is Isaac Longacher. I am currently a senior at Eastern Mennonite University pursuing a double major in business administration and marketing, with a minor in economics, and a finance concentration. I have a deep passion for the world of finance, particularly investing. As such, I have spent years studying and researching everything I can about the stock market and upcoming businesses so I can prepare for a future career in the field. In addition, I have always been interested in graphic design/art and have been able to explore this through my marketing major which includes numerous design classes. My interest in the stock market comes from my uncle who is the director of trading at a stock firm in Denver, and, curiously enough, started as a graphic designer. My mom also does side work as an artist, so my artistic inspiration definitely comes from my family.
After I graduate, I plan to move back home to Colorado and enter the financial industry in Denver. At some point, I plan to achieve my MBA, CFA, or perhaps even both as I continue to further my education. Being a self-starter, I am forever curious and willing to put in the work to learn more so that I can better my understanding of the industry. The experience I’ve gained while at EMU will certainly help me to make an impact in my competitive field.
