About Donovan Arnason

Hello, my name is Donovan Arnason and my history with writing is like a rollercoaster. Once I graduated from high school I went onto college at Mountain Gateway Community College, where I would find a job as a social media coordinator for a tech company called Telecompetitor. While pursuing my general studies degree, I helped edit, write, and post articles on the company's website through Wordpress, while also uploading the articles to social media platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter (Now X). Nowadays I'm currently attending Eastern Mennonite University, where I am pursuing a digital media major while working for ALDON Priorities Consulting Corp., where I do therapeutic writing for children in therapy, while also billing and being a receptionist for the company. My goal is to become a content writer and possibly a graphic designer for entertainment companies and media, as I enjoy music blogs and movie articles.

In addition to my writing and education history, I also play for the Basketball team at EMU, and I have written about NBA and NFL topics since high school. I've written entertainment and reports on companies, but I'm also much interested in sports media.

I wasn't always into writing like I am now. When I was a kid living in Prince George's County, Maryland, I didn't enjoy writing too much as a left handed kid. But once I moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia and was introduced to computers in sixth grade, it became easier and easier for me moving onto middle and high school.

• 1 and a half years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator and Editor at Teleompetitor.

• 6 years of experience as a Therapeutic writer and billing specialist at ALDON Priorities.
