My name is Dimas Portillo, and I am a first-generation college student at Eastern Mennonite University. I am pursuing a double major in Business Administration and Communications. My interest in media and communication came to light in high school through a journalism course I received. I have valuable experience in motivating my colleagues, fostering teamwork, and building a positive work environment. My role as a media manager for a collegiate athletic team also allowed me to effectively manage dynamic projects.

I am self-motivated and open-minded, as well as always eager to learn and grow. I am passionate about sports and want my work to display the beautiful and ugly side of athletics. My goal is to use my academic knowledge and real-world experience to make a meaningful impact in sports journalism. I have been working with Adobe software for six years dating back to my journalism classes in high school. I am committed to striving for excellence in everything I do and look forward to the opportunities ahead. This website is a compilation of my passions and my growth in media.
