I grew up on a small farm in the Staunton/Middlebrook area of Virginia. Growing up on a farm and around animals allowed me to appreciate the land and the animals around it. My photography journey started when I was young with using my grandma's old Minolta camera taking pictures of hummingbirds. My mom was also into photography when she was in her 20s and 30s. So I had the photographer 'blood' in me. I got my first camera of my own on Christmas of 2016 and I was immediately attached.
