The state of Oregon has more waterfalls than any other state with approximately 250 unique falls found in every corner around the state. Being a native to Oregon, I decided that I wanted to set out and document as many of these falls as possible. These waterfalls have meant a lot to me growing up. I have many memories of going on hikes to see lots of them. I always enjoy showing friends from out of state some of Oregon’s more well know waterfalls such as Multnomah Falls, Abiqua Falls, and South Falls. My goal for this project is to show some of the waterfalls from my home state of Oregon to people who might not get a chance to see them in person.
So far, I have been able to photograph about twenty-five falls, but there are still so many more that I want to get to. This project is one that will definitely take a significant amount of time to complete. Because I have been a college student out of state for the last four years, my progress with this project has unfortunately slowed down. However, I will soon be back in Oregon full time and I’ll be able to continue to add to the collection.
