My name is Jared Oyer and I am from Hubbard, Oregon. After graduating high school from Western Mennonite School in 2017, I went to Hesston College, a small 2-year college in Kansas. After two years there, I received an associate degree of General Studies. I now attend Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA, where I am a senior studying to receive a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and Communications, along with a minor in Photography.

Throughout my time in college, I have been able to learn many different skills found in the realm of Digital Media. Some of these skills include being able to operate photo and video cameras, or how to set up lighting for different situations. Other skills that I have gained have been learning how to be proficient in software within the Adobe Suite of applications. Some of the software that I have done work in are Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and InDesign. I am most comfortable in Adobe Illustrator and it is also my favorite Adobe software to use.
