Influencers

Gordon Ramsay and Nick Digiovanni are two of the biggest influencers in my cooking journey. Ever since High School and my brother and I being diagnosed with a heart murmur, I started searching for classic recipes, but would cook them with healthier ingredients. I try to incorporate as much fresh fruits and vegetables as possible, and am constantly on the lookout for new ways to incorporate flavor and freshness into dishes that I try.

The Journey

My health journey started after I was diagnosed, but it was not until 1 year later that I found my love for cooking. Watching professional Chefs like Godon Ramsey and Guy Fieri sparked my interest in cooking, but it wasn’t until I watched Sam the Cooking Guy on Youtube that I attempted to cook for the first time. The two chefs above along with some of these easy recipies had a major part in my cooking journey, and I slowly learned how to put a healthier and fresher spin on certain dishes. It has been amazing to me how simply it is to substitute low sugar and low calorie options that are healthier for the body. Listed below are some of my favorite recipies that I have tried so far.
