I usually create my artwork digitally. I’ve really enjoyed using computer programs to draw rather than a pencil and paper as of recent years. Programs such as sketchbook and sketchable are my go-to’s for drawings. For my logo designs, Adobe Illustrator is where it’s at. However, I am familiar with multiple types of media to create artwork. Experimenting with charcoal and watercolor have led me to enjoy those tools. It's more of a challenge when I go back to just paper and pencil because I don't have my reshaping and sizing tools like I do on the computer. So, every once and a while I like to test those skills.
I also call myself a copycat artist wich means that I’ll find art I really enjoy and draw what I see with no tracing at all. I really enjoy throwing my own flare on these pieces, so it separates both images. Though I mostly enjoy having references I also have begun to learn to draw real life objects and really found that drawing shoes is entertaining. Shoes make you create texture on paper and by having multiple textures in one object makes the task challenging but fun at the same time.
