Zodiac Illustration Series

This series features twelve illustrations inspired by the twelve zodiac signs of western astrology. Each illustration features different symbols that correspond to the sign represented, including an emphasis on color.

Many of the figures and images draw inspiration from classical paintings and sculpture. The first illustration I created for this series was Pisces (my own sign being Pisces) and I gradually completed the rest over the following weeks. While I don’t believe that the zodiac signs are accurate in predicting an individual's personality or their future, the concept is interesting and I enjoy the imagery associated with the different signs.
