about me

My choice to photograph old abandoned buildings was something that I was (and still am) really passionate about. I've always looked at these buildings as I drove by and admired their beauty while wanting to explore them. This assignment gave me the opportunity to actually have incentive to go inside and photograph them in ways that are different in their perspective. I wanted to capture the grittiness and decay within the buildings while also making the former structure shine through. I'm hoping these images are able to show how nature has taken over these former traces of human life. This was an assignment I did for my Color Photography class, and decided to showcase it.
