Living in the world of God’s creation is a beautiful place to be in. The things we see every day and the things we discover becomes my canvas. Art becomes that relaxing balance in my life to keep me steady and when I start my masterpiece I never want it to end.
My inspiration is Monet, a man so bold with his impressionism and it’s not about what he paints, but what he sees. I always believe that whatever Monet paints, it is a bit blurry the first time, but when I focus on every little area, I notice more of the highlights, shadows, and the small little objects in the painting. He has been my inspiration because when you look at my work, I want the picture to be clearer and extremely detailed. His strength was many of the elements of art, but I only like texture and color because I always believed that God took his time into making everything in the world textured.
Lastly, these many pieces may be random, but in my eyes they remind me of everything that makes me happy. They all bring back memories of the start of hobbies, people I have been around during that time, or locations that relax me. It’s like traveling everywhere except with what I have seen in the world, I can always go back to my pieces and travel back without taking one step out the door.
