About

Eastern Mennonite University. This is currently my second year at EMU and I decided to declare my major as Marketing. In 2018 I graduated honors from Heritage High School eventually going into my freshman year at Randolph Macon College. I am also the captain of the Men's Volleyball Team here at EMU. When I'm not being a full time student athlete I work for the State of VA at Jamestown-Yorktown Foundations groundskeeping department. I also have a second job doing landscaping around the peninsula with numerous contracts.

While competing in team sports, working with others to complete a task at work, or training others for another task, I discovered another hobby I like. The hobby I discovered was cooking. Sometimes I would have a long day and didn't want fast food, so I started to meal prep in order to have a healthy wholesome meal for a long day. After a while this began to feel like less of a job but relaxing. It also took a lot of stress off my mom, because after a long day of work she was too tired to cook. This skill also prepared me for college, because sometimes I may not want to eat what is being served. I can whip up something in the kitchen that I like and have a full stomach. Also being an athlete it's always good to keep your body nourished with enough food. The reason I enjoy cooking for others is to see the joy on their face while they eat the food I made.
